About The Position

TAE, part of the ASDAM Group, is a sovereign defense, advanced manufacturing, and sustainment company providing capability across design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and sustainment. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance and machining activities within the Machine Shop team, supporting aviation maintenance operations. The role involves completing assigned work safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using measuring equipment and calibrated tooling.
• Experience working with manual and automated tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong safety focus.
• Strong learning agility and willingness to develop new skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test before starting work.
• Adherence to the DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing program is a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of trade experience in a related field.
• General maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul practices.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Hand finish aircraft parts.
• Perform manual and CNC machining operations.
• Complete painting, pressure testing, analytical inspections, and balancing activities.
• Ensure maintenance is carried out in accordance with authorized publications, procedures, and aviation standards.
• Maintain quality, safety, reliability, and productivity standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
