About The Position

Nirvana Cannabis is hiring a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician for its Facilities team. The role maintains HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple company facilities throughout Arizona. The technician reports directly to the Facilities Maintenance Manager and works closely with Operations, Store Management, and outside vendors to keep heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems safe, reliable, and efficient. The position supports retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and corporate operations and involves traveling between company locations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Valid Arizona Driver License.
• Commercial HVAC maintenance experience is preferred.
• Experience maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple service requests.
• Experience working independently across multiple locations.
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and rooftop equipment.
• Replace filters, motors, belts, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, and other HVAC components.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and complete repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
• Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and specialized service.
• Travel between company locations to support facility maintenance needs.
