About The Position

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is hiring a Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician to help keep customers’ heating and cooling systems operating safely and efficiently. The technician provides inspections, preventive care, and quality service while building trust with homeowners. The role involves communicating professionally with customers, office staff, and coworkers; inspecting systems thoroughly; accurately quoting repairs or replacements; and completing proposed work as quoted. Technicians also participate in on-call coverage, staff meetings, and training, follow company policies and procedures, and contribute to a positive, professional work environment. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and maneuvering equipment up to 25 pounds, crawling, climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and working on ladders. Use of hand and power tools is required. Drug testing, background checks, and a valid driver's license are conditions of employment.
