About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep buildings and facilities safe, functional, and in good condition. The role supports the Sandstone Ridge property in Midland, Texas, and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The position is hourly and full-time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license if travel between sites is required.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, non-DOT testing, and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Keep work areas clean and safe, including performing janitorial duties when needed.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with building renovations, installations, and furniture assembly.
• Monitor supplies inventory and request replacements when necessary.
• Coordinate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
