About The Position

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Powers Ridge. Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market-ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical hours are based on community needs and may include weekends and after-hours emergency services. The schedule is 32 hours per week at Powers Ridge, with the possibility of an additional 8 hours on the fifth workday each week at Peak Living’s southern properties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance in a property management environment.
• Knowledge of general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• EPA certification preferred, but not required.
• CPO certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance with Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common-area maintenance.
• Assist with the preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
