About The Position

The Maintenance Technician joins the Engineering team and helps ensure hotel equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently. The role assists with preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the property’s facilities to provide a safe, comfortable environment for guests and team members. The technician also supports the Chief Engineer with building and grounds projects, responds to guest maintenance requests, supports other departments as needed, and follows emergency and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused, with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment and facilities in top condition.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with building and grounds projects.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and maintain safety standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support other departments when needed and follow all emergency and safety procedures.
