About The Position

Weinstein Properties is hiring a Maintenance Technician – Make Ready for Bexley Summerhill in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a stable, long-term opportunity at a well-maintained community. The role focuses on preparing vacant apartments for occupancy, assisting with maintenance work orders, maintaining the property and its grounds, and helping keep the community running smoothly. The position pays $20 per hour to start, or $21 per hour for technicians who are EPA certified. On-call pay is $150 per week, whether or not calls occur, with an additional $150 for each holiday on-call. A quarterly bonus of up to $980 is available based on property and team performance. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week), with participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• A strong customer service mindset and pride in work.
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort using computers and mobile devices, including Outlook and work order systems.
• Ability to drive a golf cart.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors year-round.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Background check required.

Nice To Haves

• EPA certification (Type II or Universal).
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Willingness to train and work toward HVAC certification; HVAC certification is not required if willing to do so.
• EPA certification qualifies the employee for the stated $21 per hour rate.

Responsibilities

• Complete the turn/make-ready process for vacant apartments.
• Assist the team with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds daily.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.
• Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule.
