About The Position

American Construction Metals (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, produces metal building materials including trim coil, edge metal, gutter systems, and other metal accessories. ACM is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support its production and manufacturing operations. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. The role is based entirely in a manufacturing setting and requires compliance with assigned personal protective equipment requirements.

Requirements

• At least two years of industrial maintenance experience.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, as listed in the qualifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance, as described in the physical demands.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full eight-hour day.
• Must have own tools.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Must comply with assigned PPE requirements, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of roll forming, punch press, shear, and metal braking.

Responsibilities

• Support production and manufacturing operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose machinery problems.
• Repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
• Order parts and replace damaged hardware as needed.
• Maintain communication with company personnel and vendors.
• Communicate maintenance-related issues to co-workers, shop associates, and management.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
