About The Position

Allied Plastics is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician for its thermoforming manufacturing facility in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. The role supports production by troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and helping keep machinery operating efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responds quickly to equipment issues, and is willing to be on call when needed. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The position offers $29–$40 per hour depending on experience, along with medical, dental, vision, employer-sponsored life insurance and disability coverage, and a 401(k) match after 30 days of employment. Requirements

At least 1 year of electrical maintenance experience.
At least 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Dependable and detail-oriented.
Able to work overtime as needed.
Comfortable standing for 8 or more hours daily.
Comfortable working in a warm or hot manufacturing environment.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Basic knowledge of tool and equipment usage.

Responsibilities

Understand 480V three-phase operation and perform diagnostic testing.
Understand and troubleshoot control circuits, including 110V AC, 24V DC, relays, and ladder logic.
Clean, lubricate, inspect, and test machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair machines and equipment using visual and auditory inspection.
Check vacuum pumps and air compressors.
Check the plant ventilation system for negative airflow.
Install new parts in defective machines.
Repair electrical connection issues on machines.
Perform daily preventative maintenance.
Inspect band saws, fire extinguishers, fire pumps, rooftop exhaust units, bench grinders, and other related machines and devices.
Complete other related tasks as needed.
