About The Position

WT Burnett, a polyurethane foam manufacturer, is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to work as the only Maintenance team member on site during the second shift. The role keeps foam fabrication, chemical chilling, and grinding equipment operating safely and reliably until first shift arrives. The technician independently troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems, and determines whether to repair equipment, make it safe for handoff to first shift, or call for help. The technician completes assigned preventive maintenance work orders, documents work in Fiix, monitors spare-parts needs, follows lone-worker and other safety procedures, responds to alarms, and provides a written report and verbal handoff at shift end. The position works with second-shift Production leads to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime, while keeping work areas and equipment clean and organized. This is a Monday-through-Friday position from 4:00 PM until 12:30 AM. The work takes place in a manufacturing plant and involves exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, heat, and polyurethane chemicals. Overtime, weekends, and call-ins may be needed for breakdowns.
