Part Time Maintenance Technician

About The Position
QSL Management is hiring a part-time Maintenance Technician for River's Edge by Barclay House. The role supports a senior living community by maintaining the building and grounds, keeping the property clean and appealing, completing preventive maintenance tasks, and maintaining accurate records for building systems and equipment. The technician also assists residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges. The position is 20 hours per week and pays $15–$17 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws.
- Construction experience coordinating building repairs.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Responsibilities
- Follow the preventive maintenance program established by the Director of Facility Management, including paint touch-ups, grounds and building readiness tours, checking lights, clearing gutters and pathways, and removing trash and debris.
- Manage time effectively and complete tasks within company time frames.
- Keep the building and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources, and prospects.
- Accurately document maintenance records for systems and equipment, including fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permits, nurse call systems, emergency backup generators, automobiles, HVAC, and PTAC service.
- Assist new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
