About The Position

This role is responsible for representing the Bryant Real Estate brand in the field by addressing tenant needs, completing work orders, and performing move-out inspections. The primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues in homes, or referring them to outside vendors, and ensuring proper documentation. The technician will work to meet the needs of owners and tenants, maintain properties, and collaborate with property managers. The position requires a self-starter who can quickly adapt to new situations and is eager to learn. A clean driving record and the ability to provide common tools are necessary, with specialty tools provided or purchased upon approval.

Solid multi-tasking skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
Willingness and ability to work holidays as the business requires (40 hours/week).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and exert 50+ pounds of force.
Frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
Provide common tools; specialty tools will be supplied or purchased by the company when approved.

Nice To Haves

Technical background on general home maintenance is valued but not required.
Skills and knowledge of carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and locksmith skills will be developed.

Responsibilities

Representing the Bryant Real Estate brand in the field with top-level customer service skills.
Completing work-orders, move-out inspections, and addressing tenant needs.
Troubleshooting tenant complaints on home maintenance items.
Resolving maintenance issues or referring them to an outside vendor.
Following up to ensure issues are resolved and documented correctly.
Working to ensure owners and tenants' needs are met and homes are maintained.
Working with owners to maintain and update their properties in concert with property managers.
Other duties as assigned.
