About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Boynton Beach, a senior living community. The role supports a clean, safe, well-maintained, and appealing building and grounds, and assists residents and families during move-ins and discharges. The position follows a preventative maintenance program established by the Director of Facility Management and maintains accurate records for building systems and equipment. The stated pay is $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Experience with UTO (as stated in the posting).
Experience with light painting.
Ability to lift supplies.
Experience answering resident repair requests.
Experience in an assisted living environment.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws.
Construction experience coordinating building repairs.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Follow the preventative maintenance program established by the Director of Facility Management, including paint touch-ups, grounds and building readiness tours, checking lights, clearing gutters and pathways, and removing trash and debris.
Complete assigned tasks within company time frames and manage time effectively.
Keep the building and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources, and prospects.
Accurately document maintenance records for systems and equipment, including fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permits, nurse call systems, emergency backup generators, automobiles, HVAC, and PTAC service.
Assist new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
