The ideal candidate enjoys being part of a team and is often described as dependable, knowledgeable, and a problem solver. This role requires comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment around loud machinery and a flexible schedule due to a call rotation schedule. The weekend shift hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. New Maintenance Technicians will train on 1st shift for their first 60 days. This role offers the benefit of working 36 hours while getting paid for 40 hours.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong background in electrical, electronic, and CNC maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with assembly machine components (Sensors, PLC, etc.).
- Proficient in high and low voltage electrical concepts.
- Able to diagnose and repair equipment/machines.
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of plant maintenance is a plus
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools, powered hand tools, and welding equipment.
- Work in various ambient environments, sometimes at elevated positions.
- Promote a safe working environment and adhere to 5S principles.
- Participate in Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS).
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and technical support personnel.
