About The Position
Why Join Trellis Mgmt? At Trellis, we don't just manage buildings; we sustain homes. We are looking for a reliable, "can-do" Maintenance Technician to join our Twin Cities team. If you want a stable, full-time position with no weekends required, we want to talk to you! The Role: You will be the backbone of a 168-unit apartment community in Eden Prairie, ensuring our residents have a safe, clean, and functional place to live. Project Base Section 8 and Tax Credit combo.
Requirements
- 2 + year of mechanical or basic maintenance experience (Plumbing, Appliances, Electrical, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of general repair techniques.
- Valid Driver's License, insurance and a reliable vehicle are a must.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Comfortable bending, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Boiler license is a huge plus, but we will pay for your training to get one if you don't have it.
Responsibilities
- Prepping units for new residents and handling daily work orders.
- Managing boilers, furnaces, and plumbing (we will train you for your boiler license!).
- Boiler Heat and wall unit AC's
- Conducting quality checks to catch issues before they happen.
- General maintenance and essential snow removal to keep the community accessible.
