About The Position

The Maintenance Technician supports the appearance and cleanliness of the property's exterior areas, helping provide a welcoming, clean, and well-maintained environment for tenants and visitors. The role involves regular outdoor upkeep, equipment use, basic painting, and reporting maintenance or safety issues. Work takes place frequently outdoors in varying weather conditions; safety gear and training will be provided.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and remain on one's feet for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the property.
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality work.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in exterior cleaning or property maintenance is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily property walk-throughs to identify and address exterior cleanliness needs.
• Pick up litter and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and other outdoor areas.
• Empty exterior trash cans and receptacles and replace their liners.
• Use pressure-washer equipment to clean sidewalks, exterior walls, entryways, and other high-traffic areas as needed.
• Perform basic painting and touch-up tasks on exterior surfaces, railings, curbs, and other areas as directed.
• Report damage, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf blowing, snow removal if applicable, and de-icing walkways.
• Keep equipment and supplies clean and orderly, and store them appropriately.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required.
