About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-care equipment and performing routine cleaning throughout the store, while supporting customer experience, store recovery, safety, merchandising, and operational standards. The associate is cross-trained in multiple store areas and may support Front End coverage and other business needs.

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.

Responsibilities

• Operate scrubber and buffer; dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass and windows.
• Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards and the maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
• Follow company Health and Safety policies, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
• Work in other store areas as cross-trained, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor.
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Follow operational and loss-prevention controls and company policies, including shrink-reduction practices.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures, including meal and break-period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Model established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
