Maintenance Technician (FT) (Housing Services Program)

This position will support the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of the property by performing general maintenance and repair duties. Will complete all forms of maintenance activities, including but not limited to furnace repairs, painting, drywall, plumbing and electrical issues. Will identify maintenance needs and communicate repair issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
- Experience in some form of construction or the housing industry is required.
- High school diploma/GED required
Nice To Haves
- Certification and/or training in carpentry and/or general maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair duties to support the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of the property.
- Complete all forms of maintenance activities, including furnace repairs, painting, drywall, plumbing and electrical issues.
- Identify maintenance needs and communicate repair issues or concerns to management.
