About The Position

Veterinary United is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the upkeep and functionality of more than 20 veterinary clinics across metro Detroit, Adrian, and Lansing. The role involves maintaining safe, clean, welcoming, and professional interior and exterior environments through repairs, preventative maintenance, renovations, inspections, and replacements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience maintaining building surfaces, including walls, floors, and finishes.
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to use basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and custodial tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks, including patching, painting, equipment repairs, and necessary replacements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, renovations, and inspections to maintain facilities to high standards.
• Conduct routine inspections across all clinics to ensure operational safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain interior and exterior environments to promote a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
