The Advanced Maintenance Technician is a technical authority within a high-mix, automated manufacturing environment. This role leads complex troubleshooting, equipment restoration, and reliability improvements across CNC, robotic, and fully integrated production systems. The Senior Technician works independently, mentors others, and drives up-time and maintainability. Requirements

  • 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Advanced multi-craft expertise (mechanical, electrical, controls)
  • Strong PLC and automation troubleshooting capability
  • Ability to lead complex repair efforts independently
  • CNC or robotics specialization
  • Machine rebuild or retrofit experience
  • Predictive maintenance and reliability program involvement

Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
  • Diagnose PLC, drive, servo, and safety circuit failures
  • Perform precision alignment, calibration, and validation
  • Lead major repairs, rebuilds, and equipment retrofits
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
  • Mentor technicians and provide technical guidance
  • Improve maintenance strategies and equipment reliability
