About The Position

MCC is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Electrician to keep production equipment and facility systems operating reliably. The role ensures electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoots equipment during unscheduled downtime, performs repairs, and completes preventive maintenance. The technician works in a multi-shift production environment and supports an optimized production operation using Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.

Requirements

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications.
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Ability to multitask and identify and execute process improvements as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including frequent walking, standing, reaching, handling materials, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
• Ability to climb stairs and, as needed, stoop, squat, crawl, kneel, crouch, or balance.
• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Vocational maintenance training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and repair the facility.
• Support an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current.
