About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and facility systems through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. This role provides hands-on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation support; troubleshoots and repairs equipment issues; and partners with Operations, Engineering, and contractors to improve plant reliability, safety, and performance.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with industrial electrical systems (24V–480V), pumps, piping, valves, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.
Proficiency with calibration equipment, diagnostic tools, and CMMS software (SAP preferred).
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field.
5+ years of manufacturing, chemical, or industrial maintenance experience.
Welding and/or machining experience.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical (24V–480V), and instrumentation issues.
Maintain pumps, valves, piping, rotating equipment, motors, conveyors, control panels, sensors, and control systems.
Calibrate instruments, conduct equipment inspections, and utilize diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance.
Execute maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records in CMMS systems (preferably SAP).
Support equipment installations, facility upgrades, startups, and commissioning activities.
Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements that increase reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency.
Maintain spare parts inventories and assist with sourcing critical replacement components.
Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, OSHA requirements, and Process Safety Management (PSM) practices.
Participate in root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, development of maintenance procedures, and cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, contractors, and vendors to resolve equipment issues and support plant objectives.
Support colleagues and respond to stakeholder requests in a timely, professional manner.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with policies and procedures.
Escalate issues, risks, and deviations promptly to supervisor and follow through on corrective actions.
