About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance in rental units and helps refurbish make-ready homes in a mobile home community in Lufkin, Texas. Work includes painting, cleaning, and light carpentry, plumbing, or electrical tasks, as well as maintaining property grounds and keeping work areas clean and organized. The technician also assists with coverage of the after-hours maintenance emergency line. The employer emphasizes honesty, a willingness to learn, hard work, and care for residents and the community.

Requirements

• Commitment to learn, work hard, and be honest.
• Working knowledge of light carpentry, plumbing, and/or electrical work.
• Ability to work independently or with other Maintenance Technicians on assigned tasks.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and driving record check.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of experience in any trade is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of rental units.
