About The Position

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to work at Pavilions at Pantano Apartments in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves completing repairs, responding to resident service requests, preparing apartments for new move-ins, carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections, and helping maintain the property. The technician will participate in a rotational on-call schedule for maintenance emergencies. Compensation is $21–$25 per hour based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification, or currently working toward HVAC certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Dependable and professional, with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Multifamily maintenance experience.
• EPA certification.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, or general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests.
• Prepare apartment homes for new move-ins.
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections.
• Help maintain common areas and the overall property appearance.
• Participate in the rotational on-call schedule for maintenance emergencies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained community.
