Maintenance Technician at Indian Footprints
About The Position
PLK Communities, an owner and manager of residential apartment communities, is seeking a skilled, full-time Maintenance Technician. The role helps maintain the physical integrity of the community for the benefit of residents, visitors, and staff. Duties include property maintenance, preparing apartments for new residents, completing work orders, maintaining grounds and common areas, and ensuring trash is properly removed and disposed of. The technician also performs carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and small-appliance repairs, as well as HVAC service and repair; HVAC training is available. The role includes responding to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Maintenance or handyman experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Own or have access to the listed tools: hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multimeter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, and flashlight.
- Able to respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation.
