About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Park at Midtown Apartments performs property and grounds maintenance, including repairs involving plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry related to homes, buildings, and property grounds. The technician must be able to troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide on-call, after-hours emergency service with support from the Service Manager, following Company standards. The role requires working standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolds and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent ability to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push, and pull; ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends, and provide on-call after-hours emergency service.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is required.
• Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Nice To Haves

• CPO certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry repairs related to households, buildings, and property grounds.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with support from the Service Manager, following Company standards.
• Work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
