About The Position

The Inn at Willow Grove is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of its historic estate in Orange, Virginia. The property includes guest rooms, a spa, a restaurant, and public areas. The role involves routine maintenance, emergency repairs, system troubleshooting, inspections, preventative maintenance, responding to service requests, organizing maintenance supplies and equipment, and assisting with seasonal tasks and event setups.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant maintenance experience; hospitality or commercial experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and general repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Team-player attitude and excellent communication skills.

• Hospitality or commercial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and emergency repairs in guest rooms, the spa, the restaurant, and public areas.
• Troubleshoot and service HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance across the property.
• Respond promptly to service requests from guests and staff.
• Manage tools, supplies, and equipment, keeping the maintenance area stocked and organized.
• Assist with seasonal tasks and event setups.
