About The Position

The Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, cleans, and repairs equipment, and performs preventive maintenance. The role facilitates repairs, tests new equipment as directed, and helps maintain a safe and clean work environment by following applicable procedures, rules, and regulations. The technician documents and communicates work actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to maintain continuity among teams. The role also requires basic computer use for email and Circle K computer-related forms, participation in training on existing and new equipment, and contribution to team effort and Company financial and key result area targets. The position includes working with minimum direction and periodic supervision. Starting pay is $25 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; other combinations of experience and education meeting the minimum requirements may be substituted.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable as a driver.
• Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and independently in a high-priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
• Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use power and hand tools, crouch and/or crawl, and use a ladder.

Nice To Haves

• Three to five years or more of experience in the maintenance construction field preferred.
• Telecommunications experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and maintain equipment; provide preventive maintenance.
• Facilitate repairs as required and test new equipment as directed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
• Use email and computer-related Circle K forms.
• Participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Contribute to team effort and accomplish related results, including Company financial and key result area targets.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies.
