Maintenance Technician- Stonewall Lofts & Southland Square
About The Position
Stonewall Lofts is a 50-unit property and Southland Square is a 96-unit affordable multifamily complex, both located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager to help keep the apartment communities safe, clean, and welcoming. The role supports day-to-day maintenance by completing work orders, assisting with apartment turns, maintaining curb appeal, and helping with special projects as needed. The technician shares an on-call rotation with the maintenance team and performs a variety of work, including HVAC, painting, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, carpentry, and custodial work.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to train, coach, and guide other maintenance personnel.
- Willingness to share on-call duties with other maintenance staff.
- Ability to meet all physical role requirements, including navigating multi-level environments via stairs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous apartment maintenance experience.
- HVAC certification or related certifications, such as EPA certification.
