About The Position

Waccamaw Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a condominium community in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The role involves inspecting and cleaning community spaces, performing general maintenance, removing trash and recyclables, keeping grounds free of litter and debris, and assisting with routine and preventative maintenance. The technician may also perform other duties as requested.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, effective written and spoken communication, a customer-service-driven and team-oriented approach, initiative and follow-through, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Physical requirements include safely operating and climbing ladders, frequently lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, performing a range of movement and hand-use activities, and working in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to safely operate and climb ladders and perform work on them.

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, pull or push, grasp, twist, reach above the shoulder, use hands and fingers, see clearly, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Walk through and inspect the community for cleanliness.
• Clean assigned areas, including furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds, and vents.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas, restrooms, and break areas.
• Clean restroom facilities and replenish supplies.
• Perform general maintenance duties, including painting and light carpentry.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables.
• Ensure grounds are free of litter and debris.
• Assist with routine and preventative maintenance.
• Perform other duties as requested.
