As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll take ownership of repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting across our facility, ensuring that production stays safe, efficient, and on track. Requirements

  • Registered apprentice or Journeyman in Millwright
  • 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience; food or fluid processing preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with process flow, SOPs, and preventative maintenance best practices
  • Comfortable with the physical demands of maintenance work (lifting, standing, moving equipment)
  • A track record of safety, reliability, and high work standards
  • Confident using various programs like Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Precision-minded Millwright (Red Seal or registered apprentice)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to reduce downtime and ensure smooth production.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, replace or repair parts, and make system adjustments.
  • Operate and maintain the hydronic boiler, following all safety protocols and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with external contractors when needed for repairs or upgrades.
  • Follow SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards including FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and contribute to SOP and standard work documentation.
  • Maintain a clean work area and support the production process when needed.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Always wear required PPE and follow safety protocols when working with tools, systems, and chemicals.
  • Participate in internal and external training, coaching sessions, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Share knowledge, support team goals, and contribute to a positive, improvement-focused culture.
