Requirements

Registered apprentice or Journeyman in Millwright
3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience; food or fluid processing preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with process flow, SOPs, and preventative maintenance best practices
Comfortable with the physical demands of maintenance work (lifting, standing, moving equipment)
A track record of safety, reliability, and high work standards
Confident using various programs like Microsoft Office and Teams
Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Precision-minded Millwright (Red Seal or registered apprentice)
Manufacturing mechanical experience
Quick-thinking technician who tackles downtime head-on, stays cool under pressure, and keeps production moving.
Collaborative operator who follows the process, respects the protocols, and shows up for the team every shift.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to reduce downtime and ensure smooth production.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, replace or repair parts, and make system adjustments.
Operate and maintain the hydronic boiler, following all safety protocols and documentation requirements.
Coordinate with external contractors when needed for repairs or upgrades.
Follow SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards including FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
Keep accurate maintenance records and contribute to SOP and standard work documentation.
Maintain a clean work area and support the production process when needed.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external service providers.
Always wear required PPE and follow safety protocols when working with tools, systems, and chemicals.
Participate in internal and external training, coaching sessions, and cross-functional initiatives.
Share knowledge, support team goals, and contribute to a positive, improvement-focused culture.
