About The Position

This position is responsible for writing electrical schematics, inspection procedures, and documentation related to electrician tools, safety codes, and regulations. The role involves designing and deploying electrical solutions, utilizing expertise in electrical cabinet architecture, and implementing controls to ensure quality. The technician will lead inspection activities for electrical systems, oversee maintenance of electrical equipment, and establish standards for electrical services. Advanced skills in repairing, maintaining, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting are required, along with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. The role also includes translating process flow diagrams, inspecting critical equipment, and performing routine installation and maintenance tasks. Team collaboration is essential, involving sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability. The position also requires developing and implementing processes, collaborating with various stakeholders, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. A strong commitment to company policies, ethical standards, and integrity is expected, including promoting and supporting compliance and assisting management in resolving ethical issues.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 2 years of experience repairing/maintaining/diagnosing mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting, experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • 1 year’s experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and deploys electrical solutions across various environments and applications, leveraging extensive experience with electrical systems and projects.
  • Utilizes expertise in electrical cabinet architecture to develop and construct efficient cabinet systems.
  • Implements and monitors controls to ensure the quality of machine and component fabrication and design.
  • Leads inspection activities for electrical systems, predicts quality inspection trends, and recommends updates to maintain system reliability.
  • Oversees the maintenance of all electrical equipment and provides consulting services related to electrical systems in various environments.
  • Establishes norms, standards, and guidelines for electrical services to ensure compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrates advanced skills in repairing, maintaining, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Applies extensive experience in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Utilizes knowledge of common drafting tools, procedures, processes, blueprints, and technical drawing specifications.
  • Interprets functional and technical blueprints, identifies technical components, and maintains and updates technical drawings and specifications throughout the equipment maintenance process.
  • Translates process flow diagrams and equipment technical drawings; inspects critical equipment to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs; and performs routine installation and maintenance tasks onsite according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Leads and participates in team activities by sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support; ensuring timelines and quality standards are achieved; and modeling adaptability and helping others navigate change and new challenges.
