(USA) Janitor (Common Areas), Manufacturing (Starting pay $20.80, M-F, 7a-3:30p)
About The Position
Performs general cleaning duties throughout the facility, including common areas, offices, bathrooms, and windows. Completes daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, and emptying trash bins. Performs minor maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, repairing minor leaks, and reporting major maintenance issues to management. Follows safety procedures to ensure the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ensures common areas remain free from hazards, such as wet floors and cluttered walkways. Receives Hepatitis vaccinations in compliance with legal requirements. Inspects common areas to identify damages or repair needs and reports issues to management. Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines. Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately. Operates machinery and equipment safely. Reports hazards, near misses, injuries, and accidents immediately. Actively participates in safety training sessions and emergency drills. Maintains cleanliness in work areas to help prevent accidents and injuries. Contributes to the continuous improvement of workplace safety protocols. Demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Successfully completes work assignments and prioritizes tasks by utilizing company policies and available resources. Collaborates effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Carries out assigned tasks while communicating progress and relevant information to appropriate stakeholders. Proactively identifies and recommends opportunities for process improvement. Demonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn from change, challenges, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and applying these principles while executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by utilizing policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, communicating progress and relevant information, recommending solutions for improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, challenges, and feedback.
