About The Position

Maintaining high company standards, the Maintenance Tech supplements maintenance, procedures, and management efforts to keep the resort in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. In this role, you will also work on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our company.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with employees, guests, vendors and the public including the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • 2+ Years’ experience in maintenance work.
  • Basic HVAC and appliance troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as required.
  • Ability to walk extensively, climb ladders, stairs and lift 50lbs or more.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
  • Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
  • Analytical skills to study problems and identify solutions.
  • Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10.
  • Excellent administrative skills when needed (i.e., attention to detail, accurate data entry, takes appropriate initiative).

  • Certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the achievement of the maintenance department’s goals by providing daily attention to the appearance of resort buildings, grounds, and common areas.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all facilities including rooms, pools, laundry rooms, barbecues, fixtures, drains, etc., as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
  • Remains informed and aware of conditions that could have an impact on our ability to maintain a high-quality environment for our guests and owners.
  • Performs maintenance and troubleshooting in plumbing, electric and HVAC repairs with minimal assistance or supervision.
  • Performs maintenance and troubleshooting of all major appliances.
  • Performs plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, and Jacuzzi tubs using methods that include soldering, brazing silver, PVC, CPVC, and fittings.
  • Provides backup support to others, special projects as requested, and/or any legitimate business task within the scope of your responsibilities.
  • Assists the IT Department via phone and email.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues with software or hardware.
  • Identifies problems and solutions with the IT Department.
  • Collaborates with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.
  • Responsible for a range of tasks including testing, and troubleshooting network and internet systems, wide area and local area networks, wireless issues, basic telephony.
  • Assists colleagues through steps to help them resolve their technical problems.
  • Maintains Standard Operating Procedures and reports that provide technical support to all departments.
  • Is on call for IT issues requiring a physical presence after hours and on weekends for the Branson area locations: French Quarter, Palace View, Palace View Heights and Branson Sales Center.
  • Will be Point of Contact (POC) for service outages in the Branson area.
  • Ensures that all safety rules are observed by activities staff.
  • Practices and encourages the proper safety procedures for equipment & chemical use.
  • Practices and encourages the proper safety procedures for physical exertion that involves bending, lifting, and climbing.
  • Knows tornado, fire, and disaster procedures and helps coordinate evacuation efforts if necessary.
  • Understands and is capable of completing the SMC accident/injury incident report forms/documents.
