About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, welding, and refrigeration systems. The role also maintains plant equipment, drains, and pipes and may perform other assigned duties. Candidates must be willing and able to complete maintenance level 4 training in accordance with the MTP program. This position is for the 3rd shift. The posting lists starting pay of $31.40–$33.40 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. Team members are eligible for comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits, and more. The work includes indoor and outdoor conditions, with indoor temperatures ranging from -10 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit or exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Relocation is not available.

Requirements

Good mechanical skills, including the ability to repair gearboxes and bearings.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend written instructions.
Excellent attendance.
Knowledge of AC/DC controls.
Ability and willingness to continue gaining skills.
Satisfactory work record.
Experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
Ability to perform assigned tasks.
Willingness and ability to complete maintenance level 4 training in accordance with the MTP program.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly working at elevated heights; regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds; occasionally lifting or moving 75 pounds or more; and standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, climbing, or balancing.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, welding, and refrigeration systems.
Maintain all plant equipment.
Maintain plant drains and pipes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
