The Maintenance Tech will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment with minimal supervision, including performing intermediate mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting and repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in industrial maintenance or Associates degree with a technical focus from an accredited institution & a minimum of 1 year of related experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machining maintenance.
  • Complies with all national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies by driving EBS/World class workforce initiatives such as ISO14001 and/or applicable regional initiatives.
  • Understanding of how to use precision gauging instruments.
  • Ability to proactively work with other team members under limited supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow technical standards and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems and analyze problems and perform repairs
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and drawings

Responsibilities

  • Perform intermediate break-fix and preventative maintenance with minimal supervision, including troubleshooting industrial equipment, dismantling equipment to remove and repair and/or replace defective parts, adjusting functional parts and control instruments within equipment, and testing equipment to observe performance.
  • Construct and alter physical facilities to accommodate changes or improvements.
  • Independently perform facilities and routine industrial maintenance.
  • Assists other technicians on more complex maintenance issues.
  • Provides support to other Technician I’s and Apprentices as directed by leadership.
  • Perform electrical power work under the direction of electrician, including running wires and cables, installing fixtures, and performing testing and diagnostics.
