About The Position

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join the team at Argonaut - El Tovar Apartments, a 109-unit residential community in Denver, Colorado. The role performs maintenance functions throughout the community, including rental units, residential common areas, the office, grounds, and parking lots. The pay range is $29.00–$33.00 per hour. Applications will be accepted until November 3, 2026.

The technician diagnoses and repairs a range of building systems and components, completes service requests, prepares vacant apartments for occupancy, performs preventive and inspection-related maintenance, and maintains the property’s grounds and curb appeal. The position includes scheduled on-call availability for off-hours needs and emergencies. The work schedule is a full 8-hour shift from 8 AM to 5 PM. The employee must provide basic tools; the company provides more specialized tools that must remain on site.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).
• Current vehicle license in good standing and compliance with the driving-record standards in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
• Ability to work a full 8-hour shift from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Must provide own basic tools; company-provided skilled tools must remain on site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and make repairs involving appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and ensure they are market-ready in accordance with company standards.
• Perform maintenance service orders related to the preventive maintenance program, building and safety inspections, and annual unit inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies according to a predetermined schedule and need.
