About The Position

This is a full-time Maintenance Technician-II position in a food manufacturing environment, with opportunities for advancement. The role maintains production equipment to support smooth operations and prevent breakdowns, while following food safety requirements and OSHA regulations. The schedule is 2nd shift, from 2:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. Starting pay is $26.50–$30.00+ per hour, depending on experience, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for hours worked from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to complete work orders and enter required paperwork into a computer.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Two-year degree in a specialized maintenance trade.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines.
Follow food safety rules in production areas, including proper cleaning procedures and use of food-grade materials.
Respond to equipment breakdowns during production and complete emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety rules, and keep the work area clean.
