About The Position

American Products is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. The role helps ensure uptime, safety, and efficiency across the manufacturing environment. The position is scheduled for second shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience working with CMMS systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must wear PPE, including steel toe boots and safety glasses.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Industrial Maintenance certification or current enrollment in a certification program.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance independently.
• Diagnose equipment issues, including problems with motors, switches, breakers, and power systems.
• Work with 480V, 230V three-phase, and single-phase electrical systems.
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions.
• Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment, including a lathe, drill press, grinder, and welding equipment.
• Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs as required.
