About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II assists with maintaining and caring for the buildings and grounds at a residential property, following established standards, and prepares rental units for occupancy. This is an in-person, on-site role at the property and requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule. The technician supports the property's appearance and operations by inspecting the premises, responding to employee and resident requests, maintaining supplies and equipment, and following company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Handle the day-to-day maintenance and appearance of buildings and grounds.
Prepare vacant rental units for occupancy.
Inspect buildings and grounds during daily work and report needed repairs or replacements and unusual property or resident circumstances to Management.
Maintain the building and surrounding areas to the standards expected by management and residents.
Respond to employee and resident requests courteously and promptly.
Maintain an inventory of property- or management-company-owned supplies and equipment.
Keep work areas clean and equipment in good working order.
Learn and follow management-company and property-community policies.
Perform duties in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Seek opportunities to develop skills and expand knowledge.
Wear the required uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
Be available for on-call work.
Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned.
