About The Position

S&B is seeking a Scheduler to take ownership of project schedules for medium to large EPC projects or alliance programs. The role performs detailed schedule analysis, supports project management with planning and progress control, and mentors junior schedulers. S&B is a privately owned, full-service Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company with more than five decades of experience across Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Energy Transition, Power, and Pulp & Paper. Occasional field trips or assignments may take place at plants or in the field, where the employee may encounter outdoor weather, loud noise, moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, and airborne particles. Field assignments may require standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and balancing, as well as clear close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Requirements

At least 5 years of EPC, alliance, or construction project scheduling experience.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and/or scheduling tools.
Strong knowledge of CPM, resource loading, and schedule integration.
Ability to read and interpret project contracts, scope, and technical drawings.
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules; alliance or portfolio experience is preferred.
Facilitate interactive planning sessions.
Perform schedule risk analysis and identify the critical path.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction leads to ensure schedule alignment.
Support project reporting, including progress updates, forecasts, and milestone tracking.
Assist in schedule recovery planning and scenario analysis.
Support project management in planning and progress control.
Mentor junior schedulers.
