About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate Neurology Physician to join a medical practice part time in the Pittsburgh area, providing coverage at offices in Pittsburgh suburbs. The practice provides integrated healthcare for people with neuro-musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions, with office-based diagnostic, surgical, and rehabilitation services managed from evaluation through treatment. The physician will work with a comprehensive team to support patient care and outcomes. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited educational institution.
Board certified or board eligible neurologist (BCBE Neurologist).
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
Tact and skill in patient management.
Excellent communication skills.
Enjoys working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial medical consultations and patient follow-ups.
Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injuries and appropriate treatment.
Order diagnostic labs and imaging, including in-house computerized neurocognitive testing.
Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries, and post-traumatic headaches.
Prepare patients to return to work after illness or injury.
Complete timely and accurate documentation.
Order or refer patients to in-house therapies.
Collaborate with colleagues and staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
