About The Position

This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group focuses on wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians provide bedside wound care, conduct weekly rounds, and utilize a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time documentation. The role offers significant clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Comprehensive training, including a wound fellowship, is provided to ensure clinical excellence. Physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. This is a mobile practice requiring travel within a 40-60 mile radius to 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Conduct clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
