About The Position

Hilton Grand Vacations is hiring a Temporary Maintenance Technician I at Bent Creek Golf Village in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The role supports resort operations by inspecting and repairing guestrooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and buildings. The technician conducts daily building rounds and assessments, and frequently uses basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical skills. The position requires detailed record keeping in English for logs and inspection sheets. Other duties and special projects may be assigned by the leader. The assignment has variable shifts and may include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate well with guests in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 40 feet; push and pull up to 100 pounds; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; and perform grasping, stooping, and overhead reaching, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Climb stairs and inspect and repair guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct daily building rounds and assess all areas of all buildings.
• Use basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical skills.
• Climb ladders up to 40 feet and reach in all directions, often overhead.
• Maintain detailed records in English for logs and inspection sheets.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the leader.
