About The Position

Hilton Grand Vacations is hiring a temporary Maintenance Technician I at Bent Creek Golf Village in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The technician inspects and repairs guestrooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and buildings, conducting daily rounds and assessing all areas. The role regularly uses basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical skills. It requires keeping detailed logs and inspection sheets in English and may include other duties and special projects assigned by the leader. The position has variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate well with guests in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform grasping, stooping, and overhead reaching, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct daily building rounds and assess all areas of the buildings.
• Use basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical skills.
• Maintain detailed records in English, including logs and inspection sheets.
