About The Position

American Landmark Value Management is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician I for Opal at Barker Cypress, a 364-unit residential community located in Houston, TX. The Maintenance Technician I role is critical to AL’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company-sponsored committees or functions. The technician is ultimately responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. The company offers a new bonus structure where all Maintenance team members receive a stipend of $100 when on-call, on top of overtime, and are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make-ready status and work order completion.

Requirements

• Prior experience in multi-family housing
• Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
• Irrigation knowledge

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Responsive, courteous, and efficient in the handling all resident requests
