About The Position

Works under direct supervision while performing operational needs at the facility which includes but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and groundskeeping duties in and around the Hospital. May have contact with all ages; pediatrics, adult and geriatric patients/residents. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Facilities Maintenance, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Primary Work Shift: Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $18.56 - $26.92 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
0-2 years skilled trades experience and/or demonstrated experience as an apprentice or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
In lieu of the above minimum requirements, an equivalent combination of experience and certification that fall within the limits of minimum requirements and preferred will be considered.

Nice To Haves

Graduation from Trade School
Two (2) years experience in operational level maintenance and engineering; experience in a healthcare setting.
