About The Position

Borja Engineering & Construction, Inc. (dba BORJA) is seeking a professional Custodian with strong maintenance experience. The role requires focus on assigned tasks and quality control while managing daily workflows. The employee will perform cleaning and housekeeping duties, support janitorial staff training, maintain cleaning supplies, and assist with groundskeeping and minor landscaping. The position also requires the ability to drive a golf or utility cart. Compensation is $17.95 per hour.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar position is preferred.
• Prior experience providing cleaning and/or maintenance services for companies or organizations is preferred.
• Comfortable using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Comfortable using landscaping and handyman tools as needed.
• Excellent management and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency, including the ability to create schedules.
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Capable of light lifting and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Create and update housekeeping schedules as needed.
• Clean restrooms and break areas daily.
• Assist with training janitorial staff as needed.
• Ensure company cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Perform cleaning according to company standards.
• Complete deep cleanings as scheduled.
• Organize and responsibly maintain the stock of supplies.
• Maintain the work site, including groundskeeping and minor landscaping.
• Report maintenance issues to the maintenance department and/or management.
• Drive a golf or utility cart.
