About The Position

The Maintenance Technician 3 at Sunwood is a highly skilled maintenance professional who helps deliver an exceptional resident experience. The role requires advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently diagnose and repair a wide range of residential building systems while completing work safely, accurately, and efficiently. It is suited to a technician who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and supporting the team with challenging maintenance issues. The position includes a starting pay of $23 per hour, with higher pay based on experience, and the opportunity to earn up to $5.21 per hour more through commissions and incentives. Company-provided tools valued at $1,100 or more, a company cell phone, uniforms, and a vehicle allowance are also offered. Employees may receive up to 20% off rent at Goldmark communities. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Requirements

Proven maintenance experience.
Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs.
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve most maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize competing maintenance requests in a fast-paced environment.
Professional communication and resident-service skills.
