About The Position

MCC is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician to help maintain production equipment and facilities. The role ensures electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoots unscheduled equipment downtime, performs repairs, and completes preventive maintenance. Work includes supporting production equipment in a multi-shift environment and maintaining an optimized production setting using Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.

Requirements

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications.
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Ability to multitask and identify and execute process improvements as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including frequent walking and regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Vocational maintenance training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and machines.
• Support an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Maintain the facility and perform facility repairs.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current.
